The
negative space from the crossing pine pieces makes the guitar lightweight
yet stable giving it the weight of a hollow body but the tone of a solid
body. The lower notch on the front proved to be a serendipitous choice
for playing ergonomics. Someone saw me playing it once and said "That
thing sounds great but it sure looks weird."
